Spring 2023
We are excited to announce that our park pavilion at Morgan’s Grove Park has undergone some much-needed repairs and improvements thanks to the Governor’s Grant that we were recently awarded by the state of West Virginia. Our pavilion is an important hub of community life, and these repairs and improvements will help us continue to use it for years to come. Thanks to the grant funding, we were able to make the following repairs and improvements: Painting: The pavilion received a fresh coat of paint to enhance its appearance and help protect it from the elements. New Railings: The pavilion's railings were replaced with new, sturdy railings that meet safety standards and help keep everyone who uses the pavilion safe. Kitchen Repairs: The pavilion's kitchen received some much-needed attention, including ceiling repair, window treatment, and new outlets to ensure that it is functional and safe for community events. These repairs and improvements will not only help ensure that our pavilion remains a safe and functional space for the community to use, but they will also enhance its appearance and make it more enjoyable for everyone who uses it. We would like to extend our gratitude to the grant providers who made these improvements possible. We would also like to thank our volunteers who put in countless hours of hard work to complete these repairs and improvements. We are proud of our park pavilion and grateful for the continued support and commitment of our community. We look forward to seeing you all at the park!
